Albert Bellmunt Gil

Albert got his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Universitat Jaume I in Spain, where he had his first contact with neuroscience, a discipline he would become passionate about. There, he worked with fMRI data analysis. Later, he came to Finland to complete the master’s degree in human Neuroscience at Turku University. Currently, he is pursuing his PhD on Gambling Disorder, working with different modalities, such as fMRI, MRI, PET, and brain lesions. His main field of interest in neuroscience is addiction, however, he also has an interest on how lesions can affect the brain mechanisms. In his spare time, Albert enjoys playing music with several instruments, such as drums, guitar or piano.
